Behind the Photographs

What if one day the photographer was the main figure in front of the camera, and not behind it? This is Tim Mantoani project, who since 2005 has been shooting photographers and their favourite, or most iconic, pictures in polaroid format. This project now is a book, Behind the Photographs, which has more than 200 pages of photographs and their stories, which are written by the photographers who took them. You can buy it here.

As some of you might know, Bob Dylan has been doing more than music and books these days, he’s been sketching as well. He said he has always been a lover of the fine arts and was friends with artists for all his life. In the past few years, his passion has produced a book, full of illustrations from canvases he created inspired on brazilian landscapes.

Yes, his book, called  “The Brazil Series” is a result of his drawings of brazilian culture (including slums and urban landscapes). The drawings were exhibited in Copenhagen last year. Apparently, the critics liked his new form of expression, and the fans did too. So, if you don’t know his works yet, have a look:
